Job description

Job Description:
The EiE project teacher trainer is accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities but not limited to:
She/he will assist entire project team to understand SoP of education ministry related to CBE and ALP programmes to enable them to easily and effectively monitor the daily lessons of the student.
Assist rest of the project team where progress of activities faced with challenges.
Prepare and plan CBE and ALP classes teacher training manual and PowerPoint slides to conduct the project relevant trainings.
Establish linkages between ACTED and hub schools’ teachers to exchange lesson learnt and good practices of teaching to improve and strength the teaching capacity of the CBE and ALP classes teachers.
Understand the purpose, rules and regulation of education in emergencies at the field level.
Regular contact with the established classes teacher’s and holding discussion and meeting about problem they face, identify and prioritized with a tentative possible solution,
Work closely with communities and the district education department (DED) provincial education department (PED) to improve the quality of teachers teaching in ACTED CBE and ALP classes.
Reviewing and present a final and clean version of teachers training manual to established classes teachers.
Conduct regular monitoring visit from ACTED established classes in the targeted intervention villages/district.
Planning and conducting child protection trainer to SMS, PTAs and to established classes teachers to make sure they are well clear with child protection policy to easily identify the child protection cases and refer them to relevant protection actor.
Arrange and conduct capacity building trainings to hub schools’ teachers.
Plan and conduct psychosocial support training to SMS, PTA and CBE and ALP classes teachers.
Conducting 10 days CBE and ALP guidelines training to CBE and ALP classes teacher.
Conducting 5 days refresher training related to CBE and ALP classes guidelines to established classes teachers.
Report project work progress information to project manager after completion of each monitoring and evaluation process.
Update the filing system daily, weekly, and monthly bases with incoming and outgoing correspondence with DED, PED and MoE.
Curry out any other relevant task assigned by line manager and project team.
 
Job Requirements:
University degree in literature, business administration, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in training and capacity building positions in development program management
Demonstrate training interpersonal skills, good report writing and critical thinking skills.
Excellent Dari- Pashto and English languages skills.
Proficiency in the use of computer office applications and email.
Strong educational, livelihood, business development, marketing leadership skills
Ability to conduct high quality trainings.
Ability to think creatively and solve problems under stress.
Should be familiar with area’s culture, traditions and sensitivities issues.
Experience in working with and coordinating with INGOs and other stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills.
Enthusiasm and commitment to improving other’s good governance opportunities, and at engaging with rural communities and marginalized urban households.
Able to provide clear and brief monthly, quarterly and final project reports.
