Job Description:
Assignment:

The community Mobilizer is working under the direct supervision of base manager and project manager assisting them in field activities follow ups.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Contribute to the achievement of Project’s results, especially regarding the follow-up of the activities of the Self Help Groups and their performance
Build representative and inclusive community institutions for men and women.
Work with communities to assess current needs and develop actions to address the needs of community members.
Develop assessment tools and implement community assessments and surveys.
Travel to the field on a regular basis.
Assess the role of women in communities and ensure their inclusion in all projects activities.
Develop strategies for reaching women in rural communities.
Under the direction of project manager, lead the Community Mobiliser teams in organising and conducting distributions of cash to selected beneficiaries.
Ensure that all surveys, and distributions are implemented in accordance with ACTED guidelines and program objectives.
Train the Community Mobilisers and other ACTED staff on the mobile data collection tools and provide technical support (i.e. serve as the “emergency assessment focal point” in the designated districts)
To be in charge of all the responsibilities of the project in the district that is engaged (i.e. well mobilization, coordination of each activities at the district level, supervise the enumerator for well survey selection through survey tools, distribution of cash to the selected BNFs…and etc)
Organize formal training and capacity building of communities.
Prepare work plans, schedules and monthly reports for all activities.
Perform any other duties requested by the PM/PO
 
Job Requirements:
•    University degree in  any  Faculty 
•    3 year experience in  Community mobilization field 
•    Proven experience in community mobilization and capacity building
•    Good communication and presentation skills
•    Excellent  skills in Dari  Language and conversational English
•    Computer Word processing and Excel sheet working skills.
•    Ability to travel to the field.
