Job description

Job Description:
CLTS Facilitator works closely with communities for the provision of CLTS training. Regular communication with communities on WASH personal and family hygiene. Coordinate project activities with project managers, communities, and local authorities. Report to the project manager. 

Provide CLTS training to the targeted communities.
Regular communication with target communities on CLTS issues.
Encourage community members to improve personal, family, and community hygiene and sanitation.
Monitoring of sanitation status in the communities and encouraging them to ban open defecation 
Contacts and explain the activities and objectives of the WASH program to stakeholders and target populations.
Coordinate the project activities with local authorities
Effective use of IEC materials in the target villages and they're following up
Conduct community hygiene awareness and sanitary campaigns
Provide WASH Project manager with success stories and photos from special occasions and progresses
Provision of progress reports to the WASH project manager, and Engineer.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
 
Job Requirements:
3 years of experience in Sanitation and Hygiene Activities with NGOs
High School graduated, or Degree in Nursing or medical background is preferred Good written and verbal Dari and Pashto Language skill
Good reporting skill
Computer (MS Office) skill
Ability to travel to the targeted districts
Knowledge of targeted communities
