Job description

Job Description:
Background about the organization and the project with a description of WFHS.

Duties and responsibilities:

Activities Coordination and Implementation

Prepare Adolescents and Youth Activities plans
Conduct interactive, engaging awareness sessions ex. Discussions, games, activities that are youth friendly
Conduct health education sessions for adolescents and youth and their families.
Provide information around health and reproductive health that are age and culturally appropriate
Conduct self-confidence and behavior change session for Adolescent &Youth
Lead child marriage structured programs including Girls Shine Module, and AMAL module
Provide needed technical and logistical support for youth led initiatives
 

Reporting

Data collection and monthly reporting of services provided to the adolescents and youth
Report on the conducted training/workshops if applicable
 

Referral and integration

Provide information about Women Friendly Health Space services
Provide referral services to AY related to PSS or MPHS
Provide referral to Youth Health Line services
 

Community Engagement

Discuss Adolescents and Youth concerns with community members and Shura members
Support peer education programs and youth volunteers networks including (Youth and Last Mile Initiative) or/and Y-PEER Network
Coordinate with (Youth Volunteers Officer) on any AY volunteering activities
Coordinate and convent meetings with community Shura’s related to the provided services and programs for AY
Mobilize available community spaces to outreach AY including schools, community centers, Masjid…etc
 

Other duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements:
Afghan National
Bachelor's Degree & Diploma in social sciences, public health related education, economics, youth & social work or any other related field.
Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to write short and concise reports.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Access etc.).
Willingness to travel to field
