Job Description:
Overall Responsibility: The Master Trainers will be responsible for organizing training sessions to the health workers and school teachers.
Specific Responsibilities:
Development of detail training plan for the planned training sessions
Manage training schedules, attendance sheets, pre and post training forms, course evaluation and certificates.
Travel within province/districts and organize and conduct training workshops for healthcare providers and School Teacher on the mental health and psychosocial
Provide on-the-job mentoring, training and support to healthcare providers in health facilities (BHC, CHC, DH, RH, PH, FHH) on mental health and psychosocial, case management and referral.
Provide updates and report to the project manager every week and participate in coordination meetings.
Coordinate the trainings closely with relevant stakeholders
Monitor health facilities and trained teacher performance in coordination with the project manager and write detailed monitoring reports
Job Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications Required:
University degree in a health-related field, preferred Medical Doctors
Experience of working with metal health programs
Demonstrable experience in capacity building as a trainer
Good knowledge of adult learning methods and different training techniques
Strong Facilitation skills; ability to present information effectively to various audiences, large and small; and sound computer skills
Able to provide reports on/before its due time and upon any further request by the immediate supervisor(s)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English
Good computer skills, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Be able to travel to the mentioned districts Respect of confidentiality and sense of security
