Job summary:
The job will involve a large amount of Math Teaching. The Math Teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness will have to develop a thorough and knowledge of the school students, so as to be familiar with Community World Service Asia implementing strategies and so s/he can effectively report on them.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
Math teachers actively instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students in the classroom.
Communicate with parents, and help students prepare for standardized testing.
Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
Apply all teaching methodologies during course of teaching
Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and hand-outs.
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
Keep and monitor records on attendance, class/course/home work
Arrive and leave on time to school and lessons and absentees is zero tolerant.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
. Teacher institute or University level degree in students teaching/development studies or in a relevant discipline
A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Math Teacher in Education Canter, at least half of which should have been related to Math Teaching, including experience of managing or conducting training under capacity building.
Languages: Very Good knowledge of all local languages
Able to teach Mathematics Teaching theoretical and practical
Applying all relevant teaching methodologies
Able to provide the modern and new teaching aid
Experience in management of the students and teaching school curriculum.
Engaging academia for curriculum/guidelines development to bridge between theory & practice,
Sensitivity:
Math Teacher – Organizational Management and Effectiveness must be tolerant and sensitive to needs of religious and ethnic minorities, women, children and the poor.
