Job description

Job Description:
Participate to the drafting of annual work plans, budgets, disbursement, recruitment and procurement.
Follow up with Provincial officer to collect project success stories and compile it.
Provides support for development of guidelines, protocols, documentation of activities
Collect weekly data from field and share with Project Manager
Collect monthly activity plans and reports, compile and send to the project manager   
Support provincial staff and manage all aspects of the project
Ensure all project documentation and reports produced on time.
Work with the project team, to review the progress reports,
analyze the data and timely feedback to the provincial staff
Develop and implement Project’s work plans on annual/six monthly/quarterly basis.
Carryout regular field visits to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
Compile project beneficiary case studies when required.
· Support PM in new project proposal writings, when required.
· Any other task assigned by the PM
 
Job Requirements:
University Degree in Education, Education Management, Law, or a related field

• Minimum of five (5) years of proven work experience as a project manager for projects of similar

intervention/scopes in education in Afghanistan;

• Demonstrated experience in working with government at national and sub-national levels, UN organizations,

or any international development or aid agencies.

• Proficiency in English and Dari and/or Pashtu (written and spoken)

• Knowledge of up-to-date trends and best practices in emergency support services;

• Good IT skills
