Job description

Job Description:
The Community Mobilizer is responsible for community mobilization of the projects and is responsible to work under Program Coordinator supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them awareness regarding the project activities.
Support the team in planning and organizing community’s awareness, campaigns, behavior change communication and community mobilization sessions.
Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
Work closely with the community elders and CDCs in selecting the target communities.
Help the team in selection of project beneficiaries, labors and rightsholders.
Conduct awareness training and conduct information campaign on the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
Identify trainers and trainees under relevant programs.
Identify the beneficiaries of business grants and women led entrepreneur.
Prepare work plan, schedules, and report for all activities.
Coordination with local authorities, and community leaders as well as faith leaders.
Identify the vulnerable beneficiaries by doing need assessment and survey
Preparing case studies and success stories.
Any other official related tasks may assign to him.
 

 
Job Requirements:
Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in social science, Agriculture, literature and other relevant field.
Experience:

2 years of relevant experience of working in the community (Social Mobilizing, Community Mobilizing, Social Organizer, Community Facilitator and etc).
Relevant work experience in Emergency Programs would be a plus.
