Job Description:
Support community mobilization for the CCCM programme activities, organization of assessments, focus group discussions, awareness campaigns and community engagement activities at site level.
Support community mobilization for IOM and partners assistance distributions at site level within targeted communities with particular emphasis on meaningful inclusion of women, children, elderly and persons with specific needs into decision-making processes.
Enable effective dialogue with the site population through setting up of information sharing and feedback mechanisms.
Provide information to the site population about the assistance and services available in the site and how to access them. Promote the participation of the IDPs, returnees and host populations at site level, with particular emphasis on meaningful inclusion of women, children, elderly and persons with specific needs.
Help identify and report gaps and/or duplication in service delivery at site level in coordination with site communities and relevant stakeholder and inform CCCM mobile team leader, CCCM Field Assistant and/or CCCM PM.
Assist in the implementation of community events, outreach campaigns and awareness-raising on key humanitarian subjects relevant to displacement site population engaging local government structures and community leaders to maintain a close coordination throughout the project.
Participate in multi-sector needs assessments, service provision monitoring and safety audits, among others.at site level, according to CCCM WG standardized tools and give basic support to the monitoring and evaluation of the CCCM project implementation.
Undertake duty travel to support the smooth implementation of all the tasks mentioned above.

Job Requirements:
Education
University degree in from an accredited academic institution, preferably in social sciences, political science, development, international relations, or related field with at least one years of relevant work experience
Experience
Experience in a Camp Coordination and Camp Management (an advantage)
Strong ability to engage with community members, partners and other stakeholders in a respectful manner (essential).
Familiarity with the local area and surrounding (desirable)
Experience with participatory fieldwork, methodologies, and monitoring
SKILLS
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
Ability to work independently, with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work in challenging settings, under pressure while respecting tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability for leadership in the context of partnership building and consensual decision-making.
Knowledge of camp management-related technical guidelines, standards, and indicators
Languages
Fluency in English (oral and written).
Fluency in local languages Dari or Pashtun (mandatory)
