Job description

Job Description:

Provide information and awareness rising on WFHS scope to women in the community on a need basis.
Provide information on menstrual hygiene, personal hygiene and hand washing.
Assign the eligible women for the dignity kits (DK), soap and distribute the DKs and soap if available. 
Work closely with female Community Health Workers in the community and select topics for the awareness sessions.
Conduct community meetings in targeted communities.
Provide Psychological first aid and psychosocial support to women and link them to other services available at WFHS and PSCC such as medical, PSS case management, and psychosocial support services.
Co-facilitate group activities in close coordination with the PSS counselor. 
Provide supportive information to women and guide them as per defined guidelines.
Perform any other project-related duty assigned by the WFHS In charge.
Assist the Provincial officer and other management staff in tasks as required.
Maintain data entry registers and other information per organization requirements on already developed tools.
Develop weekly updates and monthly reports on community/social mobilization activities.
Identify and report any challenges/problems to line manager and present solution
Perform any project-related tasks assigned by supervisors.
 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in social sciences and related backgrounds are preferable. 
Graduation from nursing and midwifery is an added value
Minimum 1 years’ experience in social mobilization with NGOs/INGOs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working with women and girls and community services in the field. 
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Fluent in Dari/ Pashto, both written and spoken.
