Job Description:
Field engineer must perform his duties under the guidance of field manager and central office:
Project implementation Responsibility in accordance prepared work plan.
Requesting construction materials to consider the need.
Manage all field activities and implement based on (engineering – architectural- electricity and water supply) drawing as approved and intended.
Ensure proper maintenance of on-site equipment- machinery- tools and vehicle.
Solving the technical problems of worker during the implementing of the project.
Solve social and community problems in the event that occurs in the projects site.
Having good communication with all workers during projects implementation.
Storing Construction materials in a technical way.
Worker’s safety responsibility during project implementing.
Preparation of regular report of stock according to the needs of head office and field office with prepared format.
Preparation of project work progress report to head office and field office as daily weekly and monthly with prepared format.
Controlling and ensuring the availability of skilled and unskilled workers in the project site.
Preparation of plan for related project activities as daily-weekly and monthly according to the prepared work plan.
Check line level, layout of construction to ensure conformance with the approved construction drawing.
Solve the technical and socials problems of the daily workers and contractors.
Workers divisions regarding everyday activity.
Preparing project consumption documents to the financial section in accordance with the rule and regulations of the office.
Verification of contractual work done in accordance with the progress and based on contract.
Preparation of attendance for daily workers.
Job Requirements:
Graduated from one of the University in the field of construction (civil engineer).
At least 5 years of work experience in implementing construction projects.
Having sufficient skills in solving field problems during the building with local people -councils and relevant authorities.
Having sufficient computer skills in engineering program and Microsoft office (Excel and word).
Having knowledge of quality building materials.
Having the skill of implementing construction projects according to the work plan.
Having sufficient skills in the technical survey of construction projects.
Having enough skills to adapt the project according to the design and technical specification of the construction projects.
Having good communication with local authority and councils.
Having skills in Estimating construction projects.
Having sufficient reporting skills and projects progress report.
Having skills to obtain sample for construction materials and concrete for liberatory test
Familiarity with writing and reading national language and English.
