Job Summary
The MEAL Assistant will be responsible for managing and implementing M&E activities and delivering a Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (CMEP) for a high-quality, quantity and results-oriented project focused activity reports in the project location i.e., Bamiyan province.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Developing operational monitoring tools (checklist, questionnaires, databases, interview, and survey forms, etc.)
· Develop weekly, monthly monitoring and evaluation plans on winterization assistance to conflict-affected, displaced, natural disaster-affected and vulnerable host community families to target communities in Bamyan province of Afghanistan, outlining data collection, analysis and reporting tools and processes.
· Perform field visits to the target areas to assess the results of the project activities
· Develop comprehensive monitoring and evaluation reports outlining project achievements, weaknesses and recommendations and highlighting corrective actions to be taken to tackle weaknesses
· Recommend tools and strategies to increase program performance and results.
· Collects, analyze, enters, and reports Projects data and information accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner.
· Responsible to ensure the quantity and quality of winterization assistance to conflict-affected, displaced, natural disaster-affected and vulnerable host community families project Activities.
· Conducts monitoring visits to ensure quality implementation of project at selected target areas.
· Overlook activities of team selecting beneficiaries’ selection committee to select vulnerable beneficiaries based on the criteria
· Conducting Post Implementation Monitoring to.
· Assists the Senior MEAL Coordinator/manager to contribute to all required reports including, though not necessarily limited to, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports.
· Perform any other tasks as requested by Line supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s in social science other relevant fields.
Experience:
· Minimum 2-3 Years related experience
· Good communication skill
· Good Computer skill
· Good interpersonal skill
· Proficiency in Pashto, Dari and English
