Job description

Job Description:
Provide support and backstopping for assigned programs, ensuring all program objectives and goals are met in compliance with NSDO and donor regulations.
Work with field personnel on project related services, activities and serve as primary point of contact between assigned field offices and NSDO as well as donor agencies.
Provide technical assistance, as needed to the provincial teams.
Track project deliverables and financial targets.
Monitor project performance in assigned topic and/or geographic area.
Prepare, review and/or edit project progress reports (monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.) to ensure quality, and work with project managers/provincial focal points and field team to revise target goals if necessary. Apprise supervisor/management of any critical issues as they arise.
Frequent travel to field to monitor program implementation and provide technical assistance.
As relevant, serve as the main point of contact for partner/stakeholders’ institutions.
Represent NSDO at meetings, conferences and workshops, as needed.
Provide updates, reports and critical analysis of field reports to Executive Director and Program Manager, as appropriate. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective support to the field, and to provide accurate information to the field regarding NSDO policies and regulations.
Prepare program budgets.
Registering the projects in the MoEc and other stakeholders as well as provide update report to the MoEc.
Analyze project expenditures against budget, and coordinate with relevant department/staff.
Analyze work plans against project deliverables.
Ensure adherence to NSDO and donor policies and procedures.
Participate in, coordinate and/or lead program development and proposal preparation efforts, as needed.
Responsible for humanitarian interventions of NSDO in operational areas and provinces.
Other duties, as assigned.
 
Job Requirements:
Master /Bachelor degree in Business Administration and relevant field of study. 
PMP certification is an asset.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in related filled with Master degree and 5 years of work experience with bachelor degree with national or international NGOs.
Having excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Excellent writing skills in English
Attention to detail
Willingness and ability to learn
Able to work under the pressure
