Main duty and Responsivity:
Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) Interventions:
Maintain overall responsibility for the implementation of all MIYCN activities at the community. Developing monthly plans for activities and maintaining accurate records which shows a clear pictures of programme procedures and results.

Community mobilization, mapping and identification of households with children under five years, and pregnant and lactating women. Establish mother/caregiver groups and selection opeer facilitators through a participatory process.بسیج اجتماعی, مشخص ساختن نان آور خانه با اطفال پاین 5 سال و خانم حامله.
Organize trainings for the peer facilitators in collaboration with the senior project officer and community health supervisors at the health facility. تنظیم آموزش ها در هماهنگی با آمر ارشد
Support the work of the peer facilitators through on-job mentorship to ensure they have necessary skills to facilitate the monthly mother group sessions and provide ongoing technical support as required.
Ensure at-risk mothers and infants who require special support including breastfeeding counselling are identified and referred to the health facility.

Organize food demonstrations and cooking demonstration sessions to promote preparation of local nutritious recipes for children 6-9 months.

Take the lead on any nutrition campaign activities in relations to MIYCN. This will include mass nutrition screening and MoPH led biannual vitamin A campaigns among others.
Promote integration of programme activities at the community level placing beneficiaries at the heart of concern programmes.
Representation and Reporting
Participate in community meetings organized by the local authorities such as the CDCs and ensure project activities including progress and challenges are shared.

Complete all weekly and monthly reports and ensure timely submission to his/her supervisor in line with concern and ministry of public health requirements.

Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience
At least a diploma graduated or University Degree (in health field). اسناد از بخش صحی
Good knowledge of nutrition preferably the integrated management of acute malnutrition and MIYCN. داشتن دانش مسکلی در بخش تغذی و مدیریت سو تغذی
2-3 Years eexperience working with communities in remote settings particularly in IMAM and/or MIYCN. داشتن 2 الی 3 سال تجربه کاری
Experience in designing and delivering trainings. تجربه در دیزاین و اجرای آموزش
Proficiency in applying PRA tools and approaches.
Competencies and Personal Attributes
Basic skills in MS Word and Excel.
Experience in community mobilization / behavioral change strategies
Excellent spoken and written Dari.
Ability to communicate effectively and be understood.
Ability to work in a team and multi-cultural environment.
Excellent facilitation skills
Strong verbal and written skills in English and local language.
Respectful and sensitive to local cultures, norms and practices.
Willingness to work in challenging environments.
Self-driven and able to work with less supervision
Flexible and able to adapt to changing community needs and situation.
