Role Purpose
The Livelihood Assistant with support from Livelihood Officer will support the implementation of livelihood activities planned under Save the Children’s BHA USAID FUNDED grant. The post holder along with the livelihood officer will closely work with project beneficiaries to provide beneficiaries with capacity-building and livelihood assistance.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
FSL assistant will support area mapping, identify target villages, and verify selected areas by government officials
S/he will work with the project team to design mobilization producers and select and verification of beneficiaries.
FSL Assistant should support community mobilizers to conduct quality mobilization, set up, and empower village committees. Also, prepare ToRs for village committees with clear responsibilities to address community involvement and maintain accountability.
FSL Assistant will coordinate cash transfer activities with the financial service provider and plan cash out as per the cash distribution plan
The incumbent will facilitate the entire cash delivery process, and ensure that all target beneficiaries picked up their cash.
FSL assistant will be responsible for daily and weekly reporting to project management at the provincial level.
Coordinate and collaborate with target community members and project beneficiaries for the management of cash delivery in a transparent manner.
FSL Assistant will support the team in project documentation, filling, and recoding.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the project officer and coordinator that are within the general scope of the described responsibilities.

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in development studies, social science, or any other relevant technical credential
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• At least 1 Year of Experience in Food Security & Livelihood or Humanitarian projects.
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
• Representation skills
• Computer literate
• Basic writing and speaking in English skills
• Familiarity with local culture of Faryab province
