About FutureLearn:

FutureLearn is a British digital education platform founded in December 2012. The company is jointly owned by The Open University and SEEK Ltd. It is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), ExpertTrack, microcredential and Degree learning platform. As of November included over 250 UK and international partners, including industry and government partners. In July 2022, accounts filed at Companies House reported that, in the opinion of the board, there was "material uncertainty" as to whether the company could continue as a going concern for the next 12 months.

Future Learn Support Women in Afghanistan and offer free courses:

FutureLearn are offering women located in Afghanistan free subscriptions for access to short courses on our platform for the duration of the Taliban’s ban on their participation in higher education.

How can follow the courses?

FutureLearn is a website offering a wide variety of online courses created by universities and specialist organizations.

·         Learners must be age 16 or over

·         Most courses are delivered in English

·         Most courses are between two and six weeks in length

·         Courses are delivered entirely online via the website

·         Courses can be started on demand and you can learn at your own pace

·         It is possible to earn a digital Certificate of Achievement for successfully completing a course
